So how exactly did man navigate the land and seas? What was the system that they followed to get to the places they have been? When there were no compass and maps to guide then, what where the reference points they used? How exactly did they decided and remembered their routes? The answer to the early system in which people navigated the face of the earth lies in astronomy.

Millions of years ago, man has no system of maps or navigation. They relied on the formations and patterns they observed in the starts, wind and sun. A crude system of triangulation enabled men to predict the best possible route to take. Later on, as more and more prominent figures in astronomy came to rise and guided medieval expeditions, the early beginnings of a system of making maps emerged. Through the lands and over the seas, mad have devised a number of navigation tools and maps, which helped lead the way to the discoveries of which ones work and which ones do not. With years of bearing with the painful and costly consequences of doing trials and errors in the crude system of navigation, man have finally found his way.

In that same decade, the Canadian company named Research in Motion (RIM) entered the mobile phone market with the BlackBerry 5810 device, a phone with email and web browsing capability.
